Prime Minister wishes happy New Year

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic wished a happy New Year to all citizens of Serbia and declared that the Serbian government remains committed to strengthening the economy, our country's position in the region and Europe and creating a better and safer future for all citizens.

"We are leaving behind us a challenging and difficult year, which has greatly changed the daily lives of all people in the world. This 2020 reminded us that small wishes are the most important, that health comes first, that family and friends are the greatest joy. This was a year that showed that empathy, solidarity and trust are the most important.

What is perhaps most important now and what gives us faith and optimism is that we have started vaccination against coronavirus, which is a big and important step in the fight against the pandemic.

This is especially important and encouraging news for our doctors and all medical workers who are fighting for life and health.

To all citizens of the Republic of Serbia I wish first and foremost good health, a lot of happiness and positive energy in the New Year. I wish you to spend this holiday with your families, in peace and love.

It is certain that next year, 2021, will also be challenging, first of all in terms of preserving health and recovering the economy and the entire society. The Serbian government remains committed to strengthening the economy, the position of our country in the region and Europe and creating a better and safer future for all our citizens”, reads the greeting card of Prime Minister Brnabic.
