Prime Minister Ana Brnabic received today on a farewell visit Director of the Regional Office of the European Investment Bank for the Western Balkans Dubravka Negre expressing her gratitude for the excellent cooperation during her mandate.
Brnabic pointed out that in the past four years, many important projects in Serbia have been implemented thanks to good cooperation with the EIB, but also the personal engagement of director Negre.
Significant progress has been made in a number of areas, Brnabic said, naming those in the fields of education, health, science and transport infrastructure as the most significant ones.
The Prime Minister especially emphasised the construction of science and technology parks in Nis and Novi Sad, as well as the project of a connected school.
Negre emphasised that it is very important for the EIB that they are recognised in Serbia as reliable partners for key strategic projects, and especially singled out investments in the Serbian health system, which enabled the reconstruction of over twenty regional hospitals and the Clinical Centre of Nis.
