Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today that the government will continue to implement reforms during next year so as to ensure that in 2022 Serbia has less of a grey economy and fewer problems with unfair competition.

Speaking at the conference "Exit from the Grey Economy - New Solutions for a New Time", organised by NALED, Brnabic explained that next year is extremely ambitious because we enter it with a desire to continue with the reforms launched, in order to welcome 2022 with even better results.
Emphasising that the fight against the grey economy strengthens the state and society, she announced several important, essential and systemic reforms - fiscalisation, expansion of seasonal employment and amendment to the Law on Inspection Supervision, so that the e-Inspector system becomes mandatory.
According to her, fiscalisation should be completed next year, so that from 1 January 2022 we have a more efficient and transparent system.
The introduction of the e-Inspector system was a step forward because it is a transparent system that helps the economy, the government and inspection services, but it is not obligatory, but rather optional.
In order to take root and give full effects it must become mandatory, which is why the Law on Inspection Supervision will be changed during 2021, when we plan to expand the scope of seasonal employment, the Prime Minister said.
Brnabic also announced that the introduction of electronic invoices and digital bills of exchange will follow next year, which should bring significant relief to the financial sector and the economy.
In addition, the prize game "Take the bill and win" should be continued, which is especially important in this extremely difficult year.
