The government adopted the Bill on ratification of the Agreement on cooperation between the government of the Republic of Serbia and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of crop protection and plant quarantine.
Government members adopted the Bill on ratification of the Second Additional Protocol to the Universal Postal Convention. Serbia, as a member of the Universal Postal Union, with the application of this law defines more precisely the conditions under which an authorised postal operator will deliver international services and prescribes the obligation to ensure the exchange of postal items according to the principle of reciprocity, by respecting the principle of free transit.
This guarantees the right to a universal postal service to all natural and legal persons in the single postal territory under equal terms and at affordable prices.
The application of this law will enable a full compliance with all international environmental norms and will improve the safety of postal items, as well as of customers and employees.
The government adopted the amended Decree on the appearance, form and content of the official badge and official credentials. The Ministry of the Interior prepared amendments to this regulation in order to prevent abuses of the official badge and credentials and in case abuses happen to apply proper sanctions.
Members of the government also adopted the Directions for development of the Cacak Science and Technology Park LLC and the Programme of its management and development for the period from 2021 to 2025.
This science and technology park, whose construction cost over RSD 330 million, has been recognised as one the most important strategic projects for the city of Cacak and the Morava District.
Given that Serbia is a country with great research potential for innovation, it is necessary to give a programme framework for the work of science parks and provide financial support so that their products could be better placed on the domestic and international markets.
