At a press conference following the signing of the agreement, Deputy Minister of International Economic Relations Vlatko Sekulovic said that the project, worth more than €1.05 million, will be funded by UNDP and EAR, adding that it will last two years.
According to Sekulovic, this agreement will enable Serbia to work undisturbed on the implementation of neighbour programmes, as well as in the development of capacities and in preparation of its administration for managing current EU donators’ funds as well as those coming after 2006.
Sekulovic reminded that the neighbour programmes with Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria have already been signed, as well as the neighbour programme with the title “Italy/The Adriatic Sea” signed between Italy, Serbia-Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania.
