Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated today that the entire state leadership is working to ensure that Serbia receives safe vaccines against coronavirus, adding that the desire is to provide citizens with vaccines from different manufacturers.
Brnabic told Pink Television that it was agreed with Russian partners that 20 samples would arrive in Serbia by the end of the week, which will be tested by our competent services.
The Prime Minister said that talks on the vaccine with the American manufacturer "Pfeizer" continue at 4 pm, adding that negotiations with the Russian partners on the "Sputnik 5" vaccine were held yesterday.
Brnabic also pointed out that Serbia will also receive the vaccine from the People's Republic of China.
The Prime Minister announced that she will have a meeting with the President of Serbia and that new, more restrictive measures would be announced today or tomorrow, which would be introduced in order to suppress the spread of coronavirus.
