Serbian Ministry of Diaspora and the Military Medical Academy (VMA) today signed an agreement on cooperation to provide health services to people from Serbia-Montenegro that live in the diaspora.
The Serbian Minister of Diaspora Vojislav Vukcevic said that the VMA has always been and still is the most important institution for providing health services, both in ex-Yugoslavia and now in Serbia-Montenegro, and added that the offer for medical services, under equal conditions for all citizens of Serbia-Montenegro, regardless of whether they live in Serbia or in the diaspora, will be as of today on
the Ministry of Diaspora’s official web site.
Vukcevic also said that the VMA offers citizens of Serbia-Montenegro health services at a price that is 10 times lower than in Europe and in the US.
Head of the Military Medical Academy Miodrag Jevtic said that the signing of the agreement was a mutual idea of the Ministry of Diaspora and the VMA management, with the aim of sending people from Serbia-Montenegro to institutions where they will be provided with quality care, according to world standards and with favourable prices. The agreement also concerns cooperation with foreign doctors.
