Prime Minister Ana Brnabic attended today the promotion of two new master programmes 4.0 - creative industry, which will be implemented at the University of Kragujevac and the University of Arts in Belgrade.
Brnabic pointed out that more and more faculties in Serbia are joining such multidisciplinary programmes.
She explained that the two new master's programmes connect the world of technology and art, and their goal is to educate the staff that is necessary for the further development of the domestic video game industry.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction that higher education institutions in Serbia understand and support the reformed approach in the educational system, which will bring a completely new value for young people and for society as a whole.
The Master 4.0 - creative industry programme was introduced last year and is being successfully implemented, Brnabic reminded, explaining that with such programmes the government of Serbia tried to encourage cooperation between faculties and universities in Serbia, as well as their cooperation with the economy and lecturers abroad and foreign universities.
According to her, master's programmes 4.0 include completely diverse faculties, such as the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Mathematics.
A completely new value for young people and society will emerge from that in a year and a half, the Prime Minister stated, emphasizing that in this way young people have more opportunities to stay and work in Serbia.
Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Mladen Sarcevic said that multidisciplinarity is a necessity of the modern world and added that in the strategy of education until 2027, the development of which is in its final phase, education for artistic groups and occupations is increasingly present.
