Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to Serbia Attila Pinter about further continuation of cooperation and improvement of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Ambassador Pinter presented Prime Minister Brnabic with a birthday card from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, in which he wished the Prime Minister much success on a personal and professional level, emphasising the importance of good cooperation between Serbia and Hungary, based on mutual respect and joint work.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the excellent relations between the two countries, emphasising the continuous cooperation in numerous areas of social life, as well as the importance of organizing the sixth joint session of the two governments in the coming period, which should be held in Budapest.
Also, Prime Minister Brnabic thanked for the help that Hungary sent to Serbia in the form of significant medical devices during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She also pointed to the continuous increase in trade between the two countries, and in support of that, it was stated that in the period from January to July 2020, trade in the amount of €1.018 billion was realised.
