On that occasion, the Prime Minister assessed that this is a project of strategic importance for our country, which will open the door to both domestic and foreign experts from the ICT industry, as well as startup innovation companies.
This is just another link in the chain of comprehensive steel friendship between Serbia and the People's Republic of China. We have recognised CRBC as a partner that is reliable, fast and efficient and that we can rely on, which is why we are proud, the Prime Minister pointed out.
She pointed out that, in addition to strategic cooperation with Chinese companies, which will have the opportunity to expand their business, open research and development centres in Serbia and transfer their knowledge in the field of innovation, it is extremely important that the opening of the industrial park will contribute to transformation of the Serbian economy, modernisation and, above all, the stay of young professionals in the country.
We are interested in starting the construction of the Industrial Park "Mihajlo Pupin" as soon as possible and signing contracts with its future residents, said Brnabic.
Brnabic added that Serbia is trying to keep the door open to the world in the economy and foreign policy, because it has proven to be one of the few countries where East and West meet successfully.
The conference was also attended by the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Serbia Chen Bo, Minister without Portfolio in charge of Innovation and Technological Development Nenad Popovic, representatives of CRBC, representative of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Mihajlo Vesovic as well as the representative of the Development Agency Rados Gazdic.
