Film “Winter’s Night Dream” by Goran Paskaljevic candidate for Oscar

The expert group of the Academy of film art in Belgrade decided at its meeting today that the Serbian candidate for the Oscar award will be the film “Winter’s Night Dream” by Goran Paskaljevic.
“Winter’s Night Dream” will feature as a candidate for the best foreign language film at the 78th Annual Academy Awards next spring.
In line with propositions of the American Film Academy, a film is eligible for the award if its production and theatre performance took place between October 1, 2004 and September 30, 2005, provided that the producer had agreed to contend.
The scenario for “Winter’s Night Dream” was written by Paskaljevic and Filip David, and the film is a co-production of “Nova filma” and “Zilion” from Belgrade.
