At a press conference following the session, Naumov said that Serbia is the first country in southeast Europe to get such a national plan, which was also positively assessed by the EU.
According to the Minister, the plan is a result of Serbia’s strategic determination in this area, and it is completely in line with the National strategy for energy development in Serbia until 2015, adopted by the Serbian Parliament this year.
Naumov recalled that a protocol on cooperation and gasification of Western Serbia was signed earlier today in Sabac with representatives of 27 municipalities from that region.
He added that at today’s session, the Serbian government passed a decision on appointing Nusret Nuhovic deputy minister of public administration and local self-government, Esad Dzudzevic deputy minister of education and sport and Bajram Omeragic deputy minister of capital investment.
At the press conference, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services Bojan Dimitrijevic announced that from November 29 to December 2 this year in Moscow, there will be a Serbian national business exhibition under the auspices of Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, the operational organisers being the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Services, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and the Belgrade Fair.
Dimitrijevic said that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov and Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica will officially open the Serbian business fair in Moscow, adding that Serbian President Boris Tadic has expressed his wish to be a guest at the fair.
