Brnabic emphasised that after the reconstruction and construction of another facility for the Faculty of Fine Arts, this institution will have 9,500 square meters at its disposal.
It is inadmissible to have facilities whose construction began 30-40 years ago, but is unfinished. Here we have a facility whose construction began in the 1990s and is in the gray phase because it did not have a work permit. It is time to give better conditions to all students and professors through construction and reconstruction, the Prime Minister explained.
In addition to the Faculty of Fine Arts, the construction of a building for the Faculty of Music Arts is also planned, which, as she reminded, has been working for more than 80 years in a temporary facility in the "Manjez" park.
She stated that for the construction of a new facility for the Faculty of Music Arts, a location has been determined on the lower Dorcol within the line park, which will cover 25,000 square meters.
Also, as she pointed out, the Faculty of Applied Arts will have 11,500 square meters.
We need to improve the conditions in which our young artists work in order to give a signal as a state that education and culture are important to us, because all societies rely on it, she said.
In the 18th and 19th centuries, the ministries of power were the Ministry of the Interior and the Army, and in the 21st century, the ministries of education and culture, the Prime Minister pointed out.
