Prime Minister Ana Brnabic attended today in Ivanjica the formal opening of factory Koenig Metall, which produces parts for companies like Audi and Porsche and which will employ 350 workers.
The factory spans 5,000 square metres and in the first phase 120 jobs will be opened, whereas during a three-year plan that number will be tripled.
According to the plan, the factory should be expanded by another 10,000 square meters.
Brnabic said that Koenig Metall is one more German investor that decided to invest its money in our country and a serious and reliable partner.
She underlined that such investments are very important for our country because they add to the economic growth.
CEO of Koenig Metall Hans-Jörg Leuze said that this company has offices around the world, but that they have not been welcomed anywhere like in Serbia, and underlined that this is exactly one of the reasons why they chose Ivanjica as a municipality to invest their money in.
We have had a great support from the Serbian government since the start of this project, Leuze underlined and added that business climate in Serbia is excellent.
He voiced hope that this cooperation will be mutually satisfactory and that it will be a pride of both Serbia and Germany.
