First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic attended today in Novi Pazar the official handover of keys to 20 apartments built for refugee families from Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia under the Regional Housing Programme in the Republic of Serbia.

Dacic said that the apartments allocated today are part of a big and humane project. He recalled that the Regional Housing Programme was launched in good faith, with the belief that justice still exists and that the most endangered refugee families must be given permanent housing.
He said that until now over 4,500 families, out of the planned 7,537 have been given a permanent house, owing to the dedicated work and engagement of all actors who take part in the realisation of the Regional Housing Programme.

We stand strongly behind the idea of equality and freedom and we take equal care for every individual destiny. Every life matters to us and it will remain so in the future, Dacic concluded.
