The interlocutors assessed that the two countries, with timely measures and decisive policy, managed to significantly mitigate the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and save human lives, as well as to take significant measures aimed at preserving their economies.
Dacic confirmed that he will pay an official visit to Athens on 12 June this year, where he will have an opportunity to discuss all important issues in the field of bilateral, multilateral and regional cooperation with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, as well as current topics in overcoming the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the gradual normalisation of the epidemiological situation in both countries, emphasising that this opens space for the continuation of activities on the further deepening of bilateral relations, especially in the field of the economy.
Ambassador Diacofotakis conveyed that Greece's plans are to open its borders for citizens of 15 countries, including Serbia, on 15 June.
