Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met today with representatives of event tourism, in order to define the conditions necessary for organising art and music festivals during August and September, which will be an eligible period in the context of the epidemiological situation.

Festivals of great importance for promotion of tourism

Brnabic announced that the government will soon adopt a clear plan for opening the country, and pointed out that holding events and festivals is very important, both in order to promote local tourism and complete revitalisation of the event tourism sector.
It was announced that the "Exit" festival will be held from 13 to 16 August, while the Nis "Nishville" festival and the "Lavfest" festival in Vrnjacka Banja will be held in standard terms - from 13 to 15 August, i.e., from 6 to 8 August.
This year's Guca Festival will be held from 6 to 9 August, while the Belgrade festivals "Beer Fest" and "Music Week" in Usce will be held from 20 to 23 August, and from 28 to 30 August, respectively.
The "Belgrade Dance Festival" will begin on 11 September.
Realising the importance of culture, creative economy and tourism, the Prime Minister was among the first statesmen in the world to support the holding of festivals in Serbia in August, which was reported by many world media as positive news.
