Prime Minister Ana Brnabic today chaired the constituent session of the Capital Investment Commission, which will deal with deciding on the readiness of proposals for project ideas and projects in our country.
Within the Commission, working bodies have been set up by sectors responsible for managing capital investments through the implementation of the Serbia 2025 investment programme.
It will report on a monthly basis to the Commission on the progress of programme implementation, and the Ministry of Finance will, according to the methodology, lead an integrated base of capital projects in order to monitor their implementation.
The programme covers projects worth €14 billion in the fields of economy, population policy, agriculture, infrastructure, trade and tourism, health, education and culture and other areas, the implementation of which is planned for the next five years.
The body will be chaired by the Prime Minister, while Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic and Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic will be its vice chairs.
