Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo, who conveyed to Brnabic greetings from Chinese Premier Li Kequiang on the occasion of the Serbian Statehood Day.
Brnabic confirmed Serbia’s strategic commitment to improving relations with China and expressed admiration at the way the Chinese leadership and people fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
She underlined that she is convinced that China will successfully come out of this difficult situation.
On behalf of the Serbian government and on her own behalf, Brnabic extended condolences to the families of those who died from the virus.
The Prime Minister underlined that the Serbian government decided to send aid to China in the form of medical and technical devices worth RSD 15 million, as an expression of solidarity and sympathy with the Chinese people.
