State creates favourable conditions for foreign, domestic investors

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met today with Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Jelena McWilliams, who has been in Belgrade for the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Deposit Insurance and Bank Rehabilitation Agency of Serbia.

Speaking about the economic situation, Brnabic said that macroeconomic stability was achieved with low inflation, a stable exchange rate and foreign exchange reserves, which together ensure the financial security of citizens.

Also, she explained, a favourable business environment has been created for foreign and domestic investors, which will have a great impact on strengthening the Serbian economy.

According to Brnabic, the business and the agreement reached on the construction of the largest campus in Europe by the US company NCR is a confirmation of this stable business environment.

The Prime Minister explained that the government is making great efforts to provide a business environment that would allow young people to stay and work in their country while facilitating the return of those who would like to return to Serbia.

She stated that, at the initiative of the government, the National Bank of Serbia created a Financial Guide for Returnees – a document that should enable easier information and faster integration of our citizens who want to return to the country.
