Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Prime Minister of Slovenia Marjan Sarec participated in the conference "Digitalisation in Agriculture" in Novi Sad today.
Brnabic emphasised that today Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Branislav Nedimovic and State Secretary of the Ministry of Slovenia Damjan Stanonik signed a Memorandum on technical cooperation in the field of agriculture and rural development.
Serbia has started to change things strategically in agriculture. We have achieved this by making agriculture more sustainable, in five ways - through irrigation systems, field electrification, automatic anti-theft defence, modernisation and subsidisation of equipment and machinery, but also through digitalisation in agriculture.
Sarec stressed that Serbia is an important partner for Slovenia and a key economic partner in the region.
