An agreement was signed today by representatives of employees of the company “Post of Serbia”, the management of this company and the government, which met with employees to increase salaries and create conditions for termination of strike.
The agreement is the result of an agreement reached late last night by the Serbian government in a meeting with members of the company’s working group, which implies termination of the strike.
The agreement was signed by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, President of the Branch Union of Transport and Telecommunications "Nezavisnost" Snezana Markovic, President of the PTT Serbia Union Radoje Djermanovic and three employees.
The agreement provides for a pay increase of 13.1% and will receive an additional 3.8% once the Law on Salary Decrease is repealed.
From 1 January2020, they will receive an increase of recourse in the amount of RSD 1,000.
With the pay increase, the post officers with 20 years of service will have a salary of about RSD 45,000, plus RSD 1,000 of recourse.
Nine days ago, part of the Post of Serbia workers stopped work, demanding, among other things, wages in the amount of the national average.
