Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with President of the Republic of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski, during his official visit to Belgrade.
The officials highlighted that relations between Serbia and North Macedonia are very good. Both countries share a common goal of joining the European Union and are committed to further strengthening overall cooperation, especially economic cooperation.
They assessed that the initiative to form the so-called "small-scale Schengen" is of great importance for further strengthening cooperation in the Western Balkans region.
Brnabic emphasised that regional cooperation is at the top of Serbia's foreign policy priorities and that our country is committed to improving the stability and economic progress of the region.
They also discussed the initiative to open the Serbian Cultural Centre in Skopje, as a place that would further connect the two countries and the two peoples and strengthen friendship and cooperation through cultural exchange.
