Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with Deputy Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund Tao Zhang about the results of structural reforms and cooperation between the Government and this financial institution.
Summing up the results of the arrangement with the IMF, Brnabic said that cooperation is very good, and stressed that Serbia continued to implement complex reforms.
She highlighted the IMF's assistance in preserving the progress made and creating a favourable climate for additional investment in Serbia.
Zhang praised the Serbian government's commitment to reform, and stressed that the IMF will continue to fully support key reforms.
The officials also discussed the activities being carried out in order to create the conditions for the most favorable business environment, with the assessment that the achieved stability and favorable conditions of the domestic economy resulted in great investor interest in long-term investments in Serbia.
He also praised the growth of gross domestic product, which will be at least 3.5% in 2019, while the expected growth for 2020 is 4%.
