Prime Minister Ana Brnabic today completed a multi-day visit to China with a visit to the SAIC Motor car factory and the Zhangjiang Innovation Centre in Shanghai.
SAIC Motor, with an area of one million square metres, has five plants that make up one production unit, two large warehouses for parts, as well as a solar energy production area, which provides 15% of the total energy used in the plant.
Brnabic led the delegation of Serbia, which was in Shanghai on the occasion of the 2nd Chinese International Export Fair EXPO.
During her visit to China, the Prime Minister met with the President of China and also spoke at the opening of the EXPO, with world officials - Chinese President Xi Jinping, French President Emanuel Macron and Greek Prime Minister Kiriyakos Micotakis.
The Serbian delegation, which included cabinet members Rasim Ljajic, Nenad Popovic and Aleksandar Antic, also had meetings with major Chinese companies - Hbis, Huawei and the Bank of China, and a Chinese-Serbian business forum was held.
During her stay in Shanghai, the Prime Minister gave a lecture at Xiaotong University to Chinese and Serbian students, visited the port in Baoshan and, together with Marina Maljkovic, opened a girls' basketball academy.
