Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today that the National Giving Day is an opportunity for the government, the civilian sector, citizens, individuals and the media to unite for a higher goal and send a message that they will be better and more successful if they help those in need.

Brnabic attended the celebration of the second National Giving Day, which this year is aimed at improving primary education, at the Bosko Buha Elementary School, attended by 83 students with disabilities.
The campaign raised RSD 7.6 million to purchase equipment, "bees", bee-bot robots, computers, interactive whiteboards and projectors, to provide the youngest in 60 schools in 30 municipalities with education in line with the latest trends.
Brnabic emphasised that she is proud of the establishment of the National Giving Day in Serbia, which is, among other things, an opportunity to remind ourselves as a society that we have a tradition of philanthropy and major donors such as Sava Tekelija, Mihajlo Pupin and others.
The National Giving Day was established at the initiative of the Serbian Philanthropic Forum under a project funded by USAID and implemented by the Coalition for Charity, with the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation at the helm.
