Prime Minister Ana Brnabic today spoke with German Ambassador to Belgrade Thomas Schieb about preparations for her upcoming official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany at the invitation of Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Brnabic said that her visit to Germany will be a great opportunity to discuss all aspects of cooperation, both politically and economically at a meeting with Chancellor Merkel.
She underlined that it is in our interest to keep bilateral relations as good as possible, bearing in mind the importance and influence of Germany in the framework of European and world politics.
Schieb expressed satisfaction with the Prime Minister's official visit to Berlin, assessing that the political dialogue between Serbia and Germany confirms a mutual effort to improve and further develop relations at all levels.
Brnabic and Schieb also discussed the importance of opening the permanent Secretariat of the Transport Community in Serbia, as well as the process of European integration of Serbia.
The Ambassador confirmed that Germany continues to fully support Serbia on its path to EU membership.
