Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with Minister of Justice of Georgia Thea Tsulukiani about the development of overall relations between the two countries.
Brnabic expressed her gratitude for Georgia's principled support to the preservation of Serbia's territorial integrity and added that Serbia similarly supports Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Tsulukiani highlighted the importance of her visit to Serbia and said that the bilateral relations between the two countries are very good, and that there is a possibility for their further improvement through strengthening cooperation in the fields of European integration, internal affairs and public administration.
During the talks it was noted that there is room for further improvement of economic cooperation.
Brnabic reaffirmed Serbia's willingness to further strengthen overall cooperation and said that the Diplomatic Office of Georgia in Belgrade, as well as the Consulate headed by the Honorary Consul, will make a significant contribution in this regard.
She also recalled that Serbia has started the procedure of opening an embassy of Serbia in Tbilisi.
