Enabling electronic check of legalisation status of facilities

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic today spoke with the management of the Secretariat for Legalisation of the City of Belgrade about the possibility of its more efficient work and the introduction of electronic records of submitted requests and electronic insights of citizens in their cases.

The Secretariat for Legalisation of the City of Belgrade has 12 scanners and three electronic card readers as of today, which will enable the legal solutions to be sent to the cadastre electronically, which significantly reduces the time necessary for the completion of the legalisation process.

At a meeting held in the government of Serbia, an agreement has been reached on the elaboration of electronic records of all submitted requests as soon as possible, which will enable citizens to check the status of their cases online at any time.

Brnabic emphasised the importance of continuing the good practice of electronic administration, which has given excellent results throughout Serbia and increased efficiency and transparency of public administration.

Considering that there are the largest number of facilities in Serbia waiting for legalisation, it was agreed to start with this electronic records from the capital, after which this electronic system will be available in other units of local self-government.

This will be only one in a series of steps that have been taken over the past several years to create a modern electronic administration, which is entirely in the service of citizens.
