Prime Minister Ana Brnabic received today on a farewell visit French Ambassador to Serbia Frederic Mondoloni with whom she discussed everything that was done to develop the relations of our countries during his term in Serbia.
Brnabic assessed that the overall relations between Serbia and France reached a high level of political cooperation, but also mutual respect and friendship, as evidenced by the recent visit of French President Emanuel Macron to Serbia.
According to Brnabic, the visit of the French President to Serbia, after nearly two decades, testifies of the sincere desire to establish stronger relations and partnership.
She once again thanked Ambassador Mondoloni for the efforts and energy he has invested in improving the relations of our countries, and wished him a lot of success in the forthcoming professional engagement.
The Prime Minister and the French Ambassador also discussed joint projects where the two countries are working, with the agreement that there is a great potential for cooperation in the areas of police, defence, environmental protection and state administration.
Mondoloni estimated that a major step forward was made in intensifying bilateral cooperation, further enhanced by bilateral official visits at the highest level, and expressed the expectation that such a trend would continue.
He pointed out that France is a big investor in Serbia and that there is a growing interest of businessmen from that country who are encouraged to invest in Serbia.
