Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met today with famous Hollywood producer and screenwriter Dean Devlin on the occasion of the shooting of his new movie in Serbia.

Known as a producer of blockbusters like "Independence Day", "Patriot" and "Godzilla", Devlin has produced in Serbia in the past months a second season of popular adventure fantasy "Outpost", whose premiere is expected in mid-July in America.
Given that Devlin is satisfied with the working conditions and the film crew, as well as the exceptional film incentives our country offers, he is returning to Serbia to shoot his feature science fiction movie "The Deal" during the summer.
The government of Serbia has introduced a very efficient and successful programme of film incentives, which is the reason for the growing number of foreign productions coming to our country.
Brnabic recalled that the budget for film incentives in our country has existed for several years and is constantly increasing.
We are very satisfied with the effects – with the number of people who are employed on these projects, with how significant these investments are and how we promote our country in the world in this way, the Prime Minister stated.
She noted that in the past year, training for practical knowledge and skills on positions in film production and postproduction were organised, for which there is a great demand on the market, and are not part of the formal education system.
According to her, all practical and pragmatic ideas will be used to further educate our people who are working in the film industry.
The budget of Serbia for the film for 2019 amounts to RSD 2,005,040,000, or approximately €17 million, with incentives for the film amounting to RSD 900,000,000.
