Prime Minister Ana Brnabic attended tonight the unveiling of the peace monument "One Day", which is a permanent conceptual installation created as a result of the cooperation of the Exit Foundation with legendary multimedia artist and icon of the peace movement Yoko Ono.

The unveiling of the monument is a part of the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, which officially ended the First World War. Brnabic stated on this occasion that peace is what we need today the most.
The Prime Minister pointed out that Novi Sad has shown over the years that it is one of the best representatives of Serbia and that it connects Serbia with the world and the world with Serbia in the best possible and most beautiful way.
She recalled that Novi Sad is a city that brought us two very prestigious titles: the European Youth Capital this year and the European Capital of Culture for 2021.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to representatives of the Exit Festival on everything they have done in the past 19 years, and on promoting peace as the core values.
According to her, the government of Serbia is committed to culture and creative industries as a way to have a better quality of life, because in the 21st century the power is in culture and education, ideas and creativity.
At the beginning of the 21st century Serbia has positioned itself very well to show everything we have, Brnabic said, adding that for her, the European Union is the biggest peace project, and that we in the Balkans need such a project.
