Prime Minister Ana Brnabic expressed her hope today that Montenegro will agree to have a real dialogue with Serbia and will not endanger the property of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Solving problems with Montenegro through dialogue

On the occasion of marking 100 days of work of the Serbian Science Fund, when asked by journalists about Serbia’s relations with Montenegro, Brnabic expressed her conviction that dialogue is the only civilised way of discussing.
I cannot say what they will really do, but we will continue to be rational and pray for common sense, the Prime Minister said, adding that a peaceful and stable region in which everyone is working, thinking about the jobs and quality of life of citizens is in the interest of citizens.
I do not know why all this is happening. We will always be there, on the other side of the table, to talk with whoever we need to and to see how to solve problems through dialogue, and not through further escalation of relations. I hope that Montenegro will have an understanding for that, Brnabic stated.
