Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today that a formal statement from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is still pending on the removal of Serbia from the "gray list", but that it can already be said that the news is good and that it is a big success for Serbia.

Brnabic pointed out that the Serbian government has worked hard no to be on the “gray list” of this organisation anymore, and that in the past year 12 laws and dozens of bylaws were amended and that new institutions were formed.
Serbia suffered a great deal of damage because it was on that list and that could have been it avoided, however, after that, a lot has been done and it can be said that our country can now be one of the leaders in the fight against money laundering and terrorism, the Prime Minister said.
Brnabic added that the Serbian government will make an official statement today on what it has done in the field of combating money laundering.
