In a statement to the press after the meeting with Philipe, Brnabic pointed out that regional stability and dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina were a topic of discussion.
The Prime Minister stressed that she once again received support from Paris when it comes to the abolition of Pristina's tariffs and the continuation of the dialogue.
I was pleased to hear that they recognise the extent to which Serbia has been constructive in recent months, that it has never responded with the same measure to Pristina to all its provocations, especially to the introduction of tariffs, she stressed, with the remark that this constructiveness has brought many points to our country.
During the talks with the Prime Minister of France, both sides expressed satisfaction that after many years the relationship between the two countries is on the good road again, as confirmed by the forthcoming visit by President Emmanuel Macron to Serbia, Brnabic said, adding that the great thing is that French companies are increasingly present in Serbia.
According to her, one of the topics of discussion was Serbia's efforts to participate in international peacekeeping missions in the most constructive way.
Speaking about the continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, she said that it is not yet known if a meeting would be held in Paris on 1 July, because, after the meeting in Berlin, it should yield some results, which is a continuation of the dialogue, but that cannot happen until Pristina agrees to abolish tariffs.
Brnabic pointed out that everyone uniformly call for the abolition of the tariffs so that the dialogue could continue, and if Pristina absolutely does not want it, then there is no reason to hold that meeting.
Serbia is always ready to talk with people like German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron and the people from our region about the problems that exist and how to solve them, the Prime Minister of Serbia said.
Brnabic has met previously during the day with President of the French Senate Gerard Larcher.
