Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will take part in a regional conference "Digitalization and Intellectual Property: An End or a New Beginning", which will be held on 17 June in Banja Luka.
The threats and challenges brought about by the new era of the Internet revolution in the field of intellectual property protection will also be discussed by Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Viskovic, as well as Serbian Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Mladen Sarcevic.
Other speakers at the conference will be Minister of European Integration of Republika Srpska Zlatan Klokic, Minister of Science and Technology Development, Higher Education and Information Society Srdjan Rajcevic and representatives of the largest telecommunications companies and professional public from the region.
The aim of the conference is to further update this topic in order to find new ways of protecting copyright and related rights, thus providing support to relevant institutions through debates among decision-makers, experts and other interested public.
The conference is organised by the regional think-tank organisation Institute for Public Policy and is held as part of the forum Balkan Perspectives Today, which aims to provide expert support to the process of European integration of the countries of the Western Balkans.
