Higher education important for raising country's reputation

On that occasion, Brnabic laid the foundation stone for the construction of the multipurpose laboratory lamella of the Electronic Faculty in Nis, which will create conditions for the work of the researchers, and this is a project worth a total of €6.7 million.
The Prime Minister announced that the Scientific and Technological Park will be opened in February next year, including the student dormitories, the Electronic Faculty and the multipurpose laboratory lamella.
Brnabic said that the state, in cooperation with the European Investment Bank (EIB), started the "investment in the future" cycle in Nis.
Also, she added, a great deal of work has been done in the road infrastructure to make business easier for businesses, providing citizens a better life.
Nis will again become the centre of the electronic industry and a city of advanced technologies. It will be one of the centres of a new, more competitive Serbia, which will be the winner in the 21st century, the Prime Minister concluded.
On that occasion, Sarcevic pointed out that a comprehensive reform of education in Serbia was implemented and that one of the goals of that ministry was the internationalisation of education.
He said that this is a way for higher education to earn, to raise the reputation of the country and to launch a new investment cycle, with the assessment that it will contribute to the fact that young people, especially those who are most educated, remain in Serbia.
This event was attended by the Mayor of Nis Darko Bulatovic, and Head of the European Investment Bank for the Western Balkans Dubravka Negre.
