Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with USAID Assistant Administrator for Europe and Eurasia Brock Bierman about the continuation of cooperation and the planned assistance programmes of USAID to Serbia.
Brnabic expressed her satisfaction with the cooperation to date, and expressed her gratitude for the development assistance of USAID, which contributes to the development of the capacities needed for achieving European standards and facilitating the process of European integration of Serbia.
The Prime Minister stated that Serbia is interested in improving economic cooperation with the United States in all areas of common interest.
Bierman pointed out that USAID is committed to further cooperation with Serbia, and announced new funds for projects in Serbia in the amount of $25 million.
He added that USAID assistance programmes to Serbia are an important part of the US-Serbian long-term partnership.
