Upward trend of overall economic cooperation with China

At the opening of the Third International Scientific Conference "Belt and Road: Serbia and the initiative 16+1; experience, achievements and perspectives", he said that Serbia attaches great importance to this mechanism of cooperation.
He pointed out that the geostrategic position opened to our country the possibility of being one of the points of crossing the New Silk Road and the China-Europe express sea and landline route, whose symbol will be the new high-speed railroad between Belgrade and Budapest.
We are ready to sign more agreements in a few days in Beijing, which primarily concerns infrastructure traffic projects, he said noting that the Plan of Bilateral Cooperation between the government of Serbia and the government of the People's Republic of China within the Initiative "Belt and Road" will be adopted.
According to Dacic, in the last two years, there has been noticeable growth in the volume of Chinese direct investments.
