At a gathering during the visit to the Branicevo district, as part of the “Future of Serbia” campaign, Brnabic said that a new investment cycle is staring, which means that by 2021, more funds will be invested in order to eventually total the sum of €70 million.
Serbia is also investing in tourism, she said, adding that the government invested €10 million in the reconstruction of the Golubac fortress, while the government invested RSD 40 million in the improvement of the Ljubicevo horse races and RSD 30 million in the city of Pozarevac.
The Prime Minister noted that on 30 March, the President of Serbia attended the setting of foundation stone for Shangdong Linglong factory in Zrenjanin, which will employ 1,200 people, while on 2 April he laid a foundation stone for the factory "Mint", which will employ 1,000 people.
She added that the mining in Serbia will be getting stronger because the state is investing heavily in this industry, saying that the blocks B1 and B2 in Kostolac have been reconstructed, and the construction of the block B3 block has begun.
She added that the Second Digital Summit of the Western Balkans was held in Belgrade last week, which gathered 4,000 people from around the world.
Recently, the enrolment of pupils in the first grade began in Serbia, and on this occasion, a new electronic system was put in place so that parents do not have to collect the necessary documents on their own, the Prime Minister said.
