Brnabic assessed that Serbia and Georgia have made very close ties, and expressed her gratitude on the principled position of Georgia on non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo-Metohija and respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, as well as for international law.
The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia expressed his readiness to further strengthen the political ties of the two countries, and stressed that his country provides full support to Serbia on its European path.
The interlocutors agreed that there is great potential for the development of economic relations, and estimated that in the coming period focus should be placed on strengthening economic cooperation.
