Prime Minister Ana Brnabic welcomed Prime Minister of Italy Giuseppe Conte, who is on a one-day official visit to Belgrade, in front of the Palace of Serbia.
The Prime Minister of Italy was greeted with the highest honours, with the intonation of the anthem and the honour guard.
The reception was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic.
Brnabic and Conte then went to a meeting, followed by a plenary meeting of delegations of the government of the Republic of Serbia and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Italy.
This is Conte’s first visit to the Western Balkans since entering into office, and the visit to Serbia is his first bilateral visit to a European country since the beginning of the year.
