Minister of Culture and the Media Vladan Vukosavljevic attended today's ceremony marking the International Mother Language Day in Kovacica.
On this occasion, at the Babka Gallery, an exhibition of naive painting entitled "Creative Economy" was opened by the Ministers of Culture of Serbia and Slovakia, Vladan Vukosavljevic and Ljubica Lassakova.
At the opening of the exhibition, Vukosavljevic said that naive painting, which by its importance and quality has long overtaken the borders of Serbia and became recognisable throughout the world, has become a trademark of Slovaks in Serbia and then of Serbia in the world.
After the exhibition, a bilateral meeting of two ministers was held, at which they discussed the strengthening of mutual cooperation in the field of culture, primarily theatre arts, creative industries and the digitisation of cultural heritage.
