Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met today with Secretary-General of the Regional Cooperation Council Majlinda Bregu, on the occasion of her appointment to that office on 1 January 2019.
Brnabic said that cooperation with the Council is very important for Serbia because it contributes to further development of relations in the region, which is crucial for faster progress of Serbia on its path to the EU, but also for other participants in the Council.
The Prime Minister added that Serbia remains a constructive partner of the Council in order to achieve the implementation of the projects agreed, especially in the field of information technology.
Brnabic and Bregu highlighted the importance of the Multi-Annual Action Plan for the Regional Economic Space and exchanged views on potential projects that would further encourage regional integration.
The Prime Minister congratulated Bregu on her appointment to the role of the Secretary-General of the Regional Cooperation Council and wished her much success in her future work.
