Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with UNICEF Representative in Serbia Regina De Dominicis about the importance of the operation of this United Nations fund in our country, and expansion of cooperation with the Serbian government and relevant institutions.

Brnabic expressed her gratitude to De Dominicis for her engagement in improving the position and promoting the protection of the rights of children in our country, as well as in providing assistance to children from migrant families who are the most vulnerable population in Serbia.
The two officials agreed to continue to strengthen partnership between the Serbian government and UNICEF, with the focus on the reform of education, starting from pre-school, and on the implementation of the National Action Plan for Children.
Serbia is implementing responsible and humane policies in the field of child protection, shown, above all, through the efforts to achieve better conditions for children from socially vulnerable categories, De Dominicis highlighted.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that UNICEF will continue to achieve extraordinary results, adding that the Serbian government is ready to provide full support and assistance to UNICEF’s work in Serbia.
