Reforms towards a better business climate, rule of law

At the presentation of the 11th Gray Book of NALED, she stressed that it is necessary to move more boldly and more efficiently in the implementation of reform measures, which is why this government exists.
We do not only implement this process because of the World Bank's Doing Business List and European integration, but because of the citizens and the economy so that we can make their lives easier and better, said the Prime Minister.
She added that her path to a better business climate and the rule of law is a measure of success in the reforms.
Since 2014, the partnership of the government of Serbia with NALED is different, and this is evident even today by the number of ministers attending the presentation of the recommendations contained in the Gray Book, Brnabic pointed out.
There is no government that can formulate and implement all the changes alone, she assessed.
For us the reforms and changes are a partnership job and my goal is to include as many individuals as possible, the Prime Minister said.
She pointed out that NALED played a key role in the reforms concerning the system of electronic registration of seasonal workers, the filing of assets and tax exemption for young entrepreneurs.
The Prime Minister stated that in 2017, a total of 3,585 workers were registered for seasonal jobs, and for the last 15 days this year, 498 employees were electronically registered.
Speaking about the e-counter, she specified that over 130,000 applications for cadastral registration were submitted in six months, and the procedure time was reduced from 25 to five days.
The measure of tax exemption for young entrepreneurs, which exists since 1 October last year, gave results in three months, said Brnabic, adding that thanks to this measure, about 500 young people started business.
