Prime Minister Ana Brnabic held a meeting today with members of the Media Strategy Working Group, at which it was agreed that representatives of all media and journalist associations, who are part of the Working Group, take part in a public debate that will begin soon.

Continuation of joint work on media strategy

Brnabic pointed to the importance of transparency and inclusiveness of the entire process of the media strategy development, as well as to the importance of the government's continuous dialogue with representatives of media and journalist associations.
A programme of public debate on the Draft strategy for the development of the public information system in the Republic of Serbia was presented.
At a meeting held on 27 December last year, the members of the Media Strategy Working Group handed over to Prime Minister Brnabic a draft media strategy, which was compiled by a large number of experts, representatives of international organisations and civil society organisations, media, media public services, academic public and others.
Today’s meeting was also attended by representatives of the OSCE Mission to Serbia and the EU Delegation to Serbia.
