Addiction Treatment Centre to expand capacities

The Serbian Addiction Treatment Centre is expecting a licence to open another floor with 24 beds and three group therapy rooms, according to Director Jasna Daragan.
The construction was made possible by the Serbian Ministry of Health, which had provided 33 million dinars from the budget, Daragan told a press conference on the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking, June 26.
She said that the current capacity of 47 beds is hardly enough to meet the centre’s needs given that the centre is a highly specialised institution against drug, alcohol, and tobacco addiction.
