Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia Dejan Zidan on the continuation of bilateral cooperation, economic relations between the two countries, and on the upcoming visit of President Borut Pahor to Serbia.

Brnabic expressed her satisfaction with the established bilateral bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Slovenia and assessed that the announced visit of President Borut Pahor to Serbia would contribute to the further improvement of political cooperation.
She highlighted the good results of the joint meetings held so far by the two governments and announced the holding of the next session in 2019.
Brnabic presented the reforms implemented by Serbia on its path to membership in the European Union, as well as with the current situation in Kosovo-Metohija.
The officials agreed that the new situation caused by Pristina's introduction of tax on goods from Central Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina has a negative impact on regional stability and that the cancellation of taxes is necessary in order to create the conditions for Belgrade and Pristina to return to the negotiating table.
