Brnabic said that the opening of this factory is a great day both for Kragujevac and for Serbia and that it is the result of all the brave reforms initiated in 2014 by Aleksandar Vucic, the then Prime Minister of Serbia.
The Prime Minister noted that economic growth today is 4.5 percent, with a record low unemployment of 11.3 percent, which is decreasing, and that public debt is 54 percent, and that it is constantly falling.
This investment is a result of the reforms, the hard work of all of us in the last four years, but also the result of the faith of all, Brnabic said, adding that the government she leads keeps continuity with the previous government and that its task is to build on.
My goal is to launch an effective transformation towards an innovation based economy. This investment is all that we want to achieve in Serbia in order to become competitive, to grow faster, that young people stay in the country and return to it, she said.
Vucic pointed out that several factories will soon be built in MIND Park and that the production of rail vehicles - trams and wagons – will be launched, and later perhaps the production of locomotives. This will dramatically contribute to the increase of economic growth of our country and create a better future for Sumadija and the entire Serbia.
MIND Group currently employs 860 workers and our estimate is that this number will soon grow to a total of 3,000 employees in MIND Group, Siemens and the science technological park.
He noted that that this will mean a lot for citizens of Kragujevac, Raca, Topola and the surrounding places and that this park will be a salvation for Sumadija and a huge gain for entire Serbia.
